Head of Growth


With +10 years of experience in creating digital tools for youth sports, Heja was founded in 2017 by Mikael & Johan.

The Heja app was launched in June 2017 and quickly began to grow faster and faster. One year later Heja has grown from zero users to +100 000 users in the U.S, Australia, Brazil, South Africa among others. 

We knew that we needed more muscle and expertise to continue our growth journey. In June 2018 we announced our first investment round of 24M SEK and are so proud to have some of Sweden's top investors believing in us. Read more on Breakit (Swedish)

So now it's time to take the next step and grow our team from 8 to 15 people. To find our future Head of Growth will be one of our most important tasks. We believe that we need someone who:

  • Is experienced in user growth outside of Sweden and would describe themselves as a person with many talents.
  • Wants to take charge of our Growth & Marketing team (4 people) but also work hands-on to fearlessly try and experiment with new ideas to reach users.
  • Understands the power of data but also wants to use your own gut feeling. 
  • Wants to work within several areas of growth. We believe that you together with the rest of the Growth & Marketing team will explore, test and fail your way to success. It will be a combination of performance marketing, ambassador programs, community building, brand awareness, PR, events, growth hacks and much more. 

Have a background in youth sports? Fantastic! It's a big plus if you share our passion for the positive impact sports can play in the lives of children and youths: encouraging healthy lifestyles, building lasting friendships, growing children into leaders and acting as a bridge between cultures, etc.

We expect this person to dive into the role with 110% and also be involved in the continued growth of additional roles within the Growth & Marketing team.
